Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Summit Basin Health is a healthcare provider in Honolulu with clinics and support teams, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
