Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Amberfield Lakeside Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Sacramento. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
