Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Rivermark Sparrow Care Services provides in-home and community support in Phoenix, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
