Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Harborlight West Care Services provides in-home and community support in Miami. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
