Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Westbrook Lakeside Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on scheduling and referrals for licensing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
