Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Foxglove Quill Care Services supports families and individuals in St. Louis with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
