Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Ironwood Mill Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Philadelphia. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
