Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Harborlight Stone Care Services Partners is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Milwaukee, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
