Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Ironwood Basin Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on scheduling and referrals for licensing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
