Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Harborlight Stone Care Services Group provides in-home and community support in Oakland. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 177 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
