Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Foxglove Orchard Health provides primary and specialty care in Birmingham, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
