Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Harborlight Birch Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Charleston with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
