Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Redstone Systems is a healthcare provider in Boise with clinics and support teams, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
