Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Greenridge Wren Care Services Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on scheduling and referrals for care plans, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 979 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
