Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Lumen Keystone Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Indianapolis, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 148 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
