Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood West Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
