Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (remote)

Amberfield Cross Health Group is a healthcare provider in Phoenix with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
