Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Portland, OR)

Northwind Yarrow Health Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on scheduling and referrals for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
