Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Pittsburgh, PA)

Cedar Juniper Health provides primary and specialty care in Pittsburgh, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
