Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Pittsburgh, PA)

Foxglove Rowan Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 54 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
