Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Philadelphia, PA)

Silverline Rowan Care Services supports families and individuals in Philadelphia with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
