Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Philadelphia, PA)

Redstone Juniper Care Services provides in-home and community support in Philadelphia. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
