Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Philadelphia, PA)

Cedar Basin Health provides primary and specialty care in Philadelphia. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 78 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
