Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Oakland, CA)

Westbrook Clear Care Services Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on scheduling and referrals for care plans, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
