Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Milwaukee, WI)

Ironwood West Care Services provides in-home and community support in Milwaukee, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of about 748 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
