Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Linden Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
