Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Knoxville, TN)

Amberfield Bridge Health provides primary and specialty care in Knoxville, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
