Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Knoxville, TN)

Greenridge Linden Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Knoxville, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of about 785 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
