Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Lumen Fern Care Services Partners and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
