Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Jacksonville, FL)

Rivermark West Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on scheduling and referrals for client records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 83 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills.
