Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Ivory Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 174 people based in Houston. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
