Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Fresno, CA)

Westbrook Birch Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Fresno with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
