Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Birch Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 109 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
