Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Dallas, TX)

Amberfield Juniper Care Services provides in-home and community support in Dallas, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of about 368 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
