Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Stone Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
