Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Cleveland, OH)

Lumen Birch Care Services Group provides in-home and community support in Cleveland, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
