Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Union Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of about 887 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
