Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Chicago, IL)

Stonegate Lakeside Care Services supports families and individuals in Chicago with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 196 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
