Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Chicago, IL)

Silverline Forge Care Services provides in-home and community support in Chicago. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
