Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Mill Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
