Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Juniper Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
