Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Albuquerque, NM)

Amberfield Cross Health Group is a healthcare provider in Albuquerque with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
