Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Albuquerque, NM)

Ironwood Linden Health runs clinics and patient services around Albuquerque. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 108 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification.
