Medical Assistant - patient intake (Wichita, KS)

Redstone Union Health provides primary and specialty care in Wichita. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
