Medical Assistant - patient intake (Virginia Beach, VA)

Highbridge Oak Health Partners is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 549 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
