Medical Assistant - patient intake (Virginia Beach, VA)

Ironwood Oak Health Partners is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
