Medical Assistant - patient intake (Tampa, FL)

Ironwood Umber Health is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 476 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
