Medical Assistant - patient intake (Tampa, FL)

Bluepeak Basin Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Tampa, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
