Medical Assistant - patient intake (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Cedar West Care Services Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
