Medical Assistant - patient intake (Tampa, FL)

Amberfield Keystone Care Services supports families and individuals in Tampa with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
